Hello!

I am Diane Zparkki. Mom, Wife, Educator, Author, Chief party planner to a fun family of 5… like you, I wear a lot of hats and I absolutely love the roles I have in my life and family. You likely have already or are currently, raising children into adulthood and you’re starting to see that as they grow up a big shift happens for you. They begin travelling, heading off to school and starting little families + communities of their own – it is an exciting and scary time for you. You want inspiration and positivity (maybe even some encouragement!) during this big shift and that is what I hope to provide you in this corner of the internet.

I want to inspire moms to rediscover their adventurous side.  

I know what it is like to willingly putting yourself on the back burner to raise a family. I did it. I don’t regret it. But a bolder, more audacious side of me is emerging now and it keeps peeking out saying “Let’s try this” – you’re in the right place if you are feeling this too.

I am a mom of three. I have two daughters 22 and 21 and a son who is 16 (we still have some raising to do there.) I have been married for 24 years… to the same man!

I absolutely love

·      being creative… I started writing when I turned 45!
·      planning events for the family … Rock n Roll themed Christmas Dinners? Yes please!
·      having a getaway bag ready to travel at all times
·      when my kitchen table is full of my favorite people and we literally sit for hours
together chatting

For the majority of my life I always felt like I was creative out of the box thinker. But my creativity was limited to my home doing things for the kids or where I work with autistic students in education. It was never just for me until I started writing. (check out my books here – link to books page) I want to play BIGGER .  As I reach my 50th birthday my personal bucket list is starting to overflow.

These newest adventures of re-inventing myself and embracing life at 50 (yes, I’m already planning the party for 2020!) is exciting and scary all at the same time. I cannot be alone in this so let’s do it together!
